Adele, acuzată că a plagiat piesa „Hello”

Însă, bloggerii americani au descoperit asemănări incredibile între piesa lui Adele, “Hello”, şi cea a lui Tom Waits, “Martha”.

“Martha”, care face parte din albumul Closing Time (1973), al lui Tom Waits, are un început ce se regăseşte în noua piesa a lui Adelle, spun internauţii. Nu neapărat în ceea ce priveşte linia melodică sau versurile, ci ideea piesei lansate în 1979.

În piesa „Marta”, la început, se regăsesc versurile: “Hello, hello there, is this Martha? This is old Tom Frost / And I am calling long distance, don’t worry ’bout the cost / ‘Cause it’s been forty years or more, now Martha please recall / Meet me out for coffee, where we’ll talk about it all.”

În timp ce „Hello” începe aşa: „Hello, it’s me / I was wondering if after all these years you’d like to meet / To go over everything / They say that time’s supposed to heal ya, but I ain’t done much healing.”
