Cântăreața Gloria Estefan a împărtășit povestea ei extrem de personală legată de abuz în episodul de joi din „Red Table Talk: The Estefans”.

Așezată lângă fiica ei Emily Estefan și nepoata Lili Estefan, Gloria Estefan a spus: „Nouăzeci și trei la sută dintre copiii abuzați își cunosc și au încredere în agresori și știu asta pentru că am fost unul dintre ei”. Nepoata ei a spus în timp ce cele trei doamne se țineau de mână: „Ai așteptat acest moment mult timp”.

Gloria Estefan a răspuns: „Da, așa este l-am așteptat” și a continuat: „Era o familie, dar nu o familie apropiată.
