Hugh Grant li s-ar putea alătura actorilor Jason Statham, Aubrey Plaza, Josh Hartnett, Cary Elwes și Bugzy Malone în noul film al regizorului Guy Ritchie, numit anterior “Five Eyes”. Actorul a mai colaborat cu Ritchie și pentru filmul “The Gentlemen” (2019), unde a interpretat rolul lui Fletcher.

Noul film spune povestea agentului MI6 Orson Fortune (Statham), care este recrutat de o agenție de servicii secrete mondială pentru a urmări și a împiedica vânzarea unor noi tehnologii pentru arme mortale, ce ar putea distruge întreaga lume.

Guy Ritchie este regizorul și producătorul filmului, iar scenariul este semnat de Ivan Atkinson și Marn Davies, potrivit Deadline. Lungmetrajul este produs de studiourile Miramax, iar filmările au loc în Qatar și Turcia.

Actorul Hugh Grant este cunoscut pentru roluri în comedii romantice precum “Four Weddings and a Funeral” și “Notting Hill” și, la un moment dat, a mărturisit că i-ar plăcea să facă o continuare a uneia dintre acestea doar pentru a dovedi că sunt o minciună teribilă și că nu există un final fericit, de fapt. “Mi-ar plăcea să arăt și ceea ce se petrece după ce se termină filmul, finalul fericit e doar o minciună teribilă”, a spus actorul.
