Lungmetrajele „Da 5 Bloods” și „Nomadland” și serialele „Bridgerton” și „Ted Lasso” au fost incluse pe lista celor mai bune producții de cinema și televiziune ale anului 2020 publicată de American Film Institute (AFI).

Institutul de Film American publică anual o listă a celor mai bune zece filme și zece producții TV, alese pentru că promovează și reprezintă cultural și artistic cea de-a șaptea artă. Lista – care nu este un clasament – este decisă de membrii AFI, critici de film, profesioniști din industrie și artiști din cinematografie și televiziune.

Astfel, lista celor 10 filme cele mai bune din 2020 include producțiile „Da 5 Bloods”, de Spike Lee, “Judas and the Black Messiah”, de Shaka King, “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom”, de George C. Wolfe, “Mank”, de David Fincher, “Minari”, de Lee Isaac Chung, “Nomadland”, de Chloe Zhao, “One Night in Miami”, de Regina King, “Soul”, de Pete Docter, “Sound of Metal”, de Darius Marder, și “The Trial of the Chicago 7”, de Aaron Sorkin.

Netflix a dominat lista producțiilor TV, cu “Bridgerton”, “The Crown”, “The Queen’s Gambit” și “Unorthodox”. Restul producțiilor incluse în lista de zece vin de la AMC (“Better Call Saul”), Showtime (“The Good Lord Bird”), HBO (“Lovecraft Country”), Disney Plus (“The Mandalorian”), Hulu (“Mrs. America”) și Apple TV Plus (“Ted Lasso”). Un premiu special a fost acordat producției „Hamilton” de la Disney Plus, potrivit Variety.

AFI va organiza o gală virtuală anul acesta, pe 26 februarie, pe canalul de YouTube al instituției.
