Nominalizari BAFTA 2012: Filmul
Dupa ce a castigat trei trofee la Globurile de Aur 2012, filmul mut "The Artist" a primit 12 nominalizari la gala BAFTA 2012.

Dupa ce a fost desemnat marele castigator la Globurile de Aur 2012, cu trei trofee primite, filmul mut „The Artist” a primit 12 nominalizari la gala BAFTA (Premiile Academiei britanice de film si televiziune), eveniment care va avea loc pe 12 februarie, in Londra.

Pelicula este nominalizata, printre altele, la categoriile „Cel mai bun film” si „Cel mai bun regizor” (Michel Hazanavicius).

„The Artist” reprezinta un omagiu in alb-negru adus filmului mut de la Hollywood. Pelicula a fost selectionata la categoria „Cel mai bun film” alaturi de „The Help”, „The Descendants”, „Drive” si „Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy”.

Gala premiilor BAFTA 2012 va avea loc pe 12 februarie

In cursa pentru un trofeu la categoria „Cel mai bun actor” au intrat Jean Dujardin („The Artist”), Brad Pitt („Moneyball”), George Clooney („The Descendants”), Gary Oldman („Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy”) si Michael Fassbender („The Shame”). Filmul „Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy” a strans 11 nominalizari, „Hugo”, filmul in 3D regizat de Martin Scorsese, are 9 nominalizari, iar pelicula „My Week With Marilyn” a fost selectionata la 6 categorii de premii. Topul productiilor cu cele mai multe nominalizari este completat de „The Help” si „War Horse”.
