Actorii Robert de Niro și John Boyega au bătut palma pentru un proiect ce va fi disponibil pe platforma Netflix, un thriller intitulat “The Formula”. De Niro, în vârstă de 77 de ani, va avea și rolul de producător alături de Jane Rosenthal.

Gerard McMurray va avea responsabilitatea scenariului și, totodată, va fi și cel care se va ocupa de regie, prin intermediul companiei sale de producție Buppie Productions.

Filmul “The Formula” spune povestea unui fost concurent și împătimit al curselor de Formula 1 care a fost forțat să devină șofer pentru niște evadați, pentru a-și salva singura familie pe care o mai are, potrivit Daily Mail.

Ambii actori sunt implicați în proiecte multiple

Partenerul de film al lui De Niro, John Boyega, în vârstă de 28 de ani, este ocupat în prezent cu filmările pentru pelicula “They Cloned Tyrone”, cu Jamie Foxx și Teyonah Parriss în distribuție, și mai lucrează și la “Naked Singularity”, cu Olivia Cooke și Bill Skarsgard. Totodată, actorul poate fi urmărit în filmul “Small Axe”, care este disponibil pe platforma de streaming Amazon Prime.

Cele mai recente proiecte ale lui Robert de Niro sunt filmele “The Irishman” și “The War With Grandpa”, iar comedia “The Comeback Trail” urmează să fie lansată anul acesta, avându-i pe Morgan Freeman și Tommy Lee Jones în distribuție. Lista viitoarelor proiecte ale actorului include filmele “Wash Me In the River”, alături de actorii John Malkovich și Jack Huston, și un proiect care încă nu are titlu, semnat de regizorul David O.
