Universal Pictures și Illumination au anunțat că filmul „Sunt un mic ticălos 4/ Despicable Me 4” va fi lansat în cinematografe pe 3 iulie 2024.

Steve Carell (Gru), Kristen Wiig (Lucy Wilde), Pierre Coffin (Minionii), Miranda Cosgrove (Margo) și Steve Coogan (Silas Ramsbottom) se vor întoarce pentru următorul capitol din animația dedicată întregii familii, despre super-ticălosul transformat și armata sa de minioni galbeni. Chris Renaud, cel care a regizat primele două filme „Despicable Me”, s-a întors pentru a patra parte. Patrick Delage va coregiza, iar Mike White va scrie scenariul. Deocamdată nu există detalii despre acțiunea filmului.

Înainte de acesta, Illumination și Universal vor lansa un al doilea spin-off „Despicable Me”, „Minions: The Rise of Gru”, programat să ajungă în cinematografe pe 1 iulie anul acesta, după ce a fost amânat cu doi ani din cauza pandemiei, potrivit Variety.

Filmul urmărește încercările din copilărie ale lui Gru de a se alătura unei echipe de super-răi numită Vicious 6. Pe lângă Carell și Coffin, și-au mai împrumutat vocile pentru acest film Taraji P. Henson, Michelle Yeoh, RZA, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Lucy Lawless, Dolph Lundgren, Danny Trejo, Russell Brand, Julie Andrews și Alan Arkin.
