Animația „Raya și ultimul dragon/ Raya and the Last Dragon” se menține pe primul loc în box office-ul nord-american, în al doilea weekend de la lansare, cu încasări de 5,5 milioane de dolari. Filmul regizat de Don Hall și Carlos López Estrada, beneficiind de vocile unor actori ca Awkwafina, Kelly Marie Tran, Kevin McNally, Cassie Steele, prezintă un tărâm aflat pe un Pământ redesenat, Lumandra, populat de o civilizație antică, unde războinica Raya este hotărâtă să găsească ultimul dragon în viață.

Și animația „Tom și Jerry/ Tom and Jerry”, de Tim Story, o producție Warner Bros., se menține pe poziția de săptămâna trecută, a doua, cu încasări de 4,1 milioane de dolari. În noul film, Jerry se mută în cel mai luxos hotel din New York în ajunul „nunții secolului”, forțând planificatorul disperat al evenimentului, pe tânăra Kayla, să-l angajeze pe Tom pentru a scăpa de șoricel. Lupta care urmează în „Tom și Jerry” amenință să distrugă cariera ei, nunta și, in consecinţă, hotelul în sine. Dar în curând apare o problemă și mai mare: un angajat diabolic şi ambițios conspiră împotriva celor trei, potrivit Cinemagia.

Pe poziția a treia se află filmul SF „Chaos Walking”, de Doug Liman, cu Tom Holland, Daisy Ridley, Mads Mikkelsen, David Oyelowo, Nick Jonas. Filmul a avut încasări de 2,25 de milioane de dolari în al doilea weekend în cinematografele americane.
