Alison Brie, Nicole Kidman și Cynthia Erivo fac echipă pentru un nou proiect Apple TV+, o serie de comedie dark intitulată „Roar”.

Liz Flahive și Carly Mensch, duoul din spatele proiectului “Glow”, al cărui al patrulea sezon a fost anulat de curând de platforma Netflix, din cauza pandemiei, s-au apucat de un nou show. Alison Brie a mai colaborat cu Liz Flahive și Carly Mensch pentru seria “Glow”, unde a interpretat rolul lui Ruth Wilder în toate cele trei sezoane.

Pe lângă rolul din film, actrița Nicole Kidman va fi și producător executiv.

“Roar” este o poveste în poveste despre femei învingătoare

“Roar” este o adaptare după romanul omonim semnat de autoarea Cecelia Ahern, care cuprinde o colecție vastă de povestioare ușor comice despre femei ce reușesc să treacă peste o mulțime de obstacole. Potrivit Deadline, Apple a comandat opt episoade a câte 30 de minute fiecare, însă nu s-a stabilit încă o dată de lansare.

Proiectul este primul dintr-un parteneriat pe care Flahive și Mensch l-au semnat cu platforma se streaming Apple, care se dezvoltă din ce în ce mai mult. Duoul se va ocupa și de partea de producție executivă, alături de Kidman și Per Saari, prin intermediul companiei lor Blossom Films. Bruna Papandrea, Steve Hutensky și Allie Goss vor participa și ei la producție prin compania de film Made Up Stories.
