Un teaser trailer pentru a patra parte și ultima din franciza „John Wick”, cu Keanu Reeves, a fost distribuit la evenimentul Comic-Con din San Diego.

În trailerul filmului produs de Lionsgate, Wick (Keanu Reeves) este văzut inițial lovind cu pumnii într-un stâlp de frânghie, în timp ce este auzit fiind întrebat: „Te-ai gândit unde se termină asta?”. „Nimeni, nici măcar tu, nu poate ucide pe toată lumea”, se aude un răspuns.

Reeves și regizorul Chad Stahelski au declarat pentru The Hollywood Reporter la începutul anului că unul dintre obiectivele lor pentru cel de-al patrulea film a fost să „găsească în continuare modalități noi și interesante de a-l face pe John Wick să sufere”. „De aici vine acțiunea. Găsește cum să-l faci să sufere și apoi proiectează înapoi”, a spus Stahelski.

„Chapter 3 – Parabellum” a devenit filmul cu cele mai mari încasări din seria de acțiune, după doar 10 zile de la lansare. Filmul a avut încasări de 181 de milioane de dolari la nivel global, depășind cele 171,5 milioane de dolari obținute de „Chapter 2” și originalul „John Wick”, care a vândut bilete de 88,7 milioane de dolari în întreaga lume.

Filmul „John Wick 4” va fi lansat ]n cinematografe pe 24 martie 2023.
